Happens to me ALL the time with ALL HULU commercials. I only have a very slow Verizon MiFi Device for internet access; which, if I am "lucky", I get top speed of 1 (One) mbps!

This IS enough for internet surfing and most of the time, the ability to stream to view shows on HULU; with only an occasional, brief stuttering of the feed, which I can live with. I don't even mind commercials; I was raised by a "No Instant Gratification" family. (Older Woman, Retired, Fixed SS income now. VZ MiFi is the Cheapest Internet available for me.

Cable TV, Fast Internet and Home Phone are Long Gone!) BUTT, when I hit HULU commercials; Any and EVERY HULU Commercial break (which average 8 per hour for 90-120 seconds) The Stuttering of the Streaming is Destructive to the show I am viewing... Cutting the connection and adding nasty, accusatory messages about "No Ad Blockers" allowed (I don't use ANY); finding me guilty without evidence. (Another "So nice feature" of HULU to jump to this conclusion without providing their customers the ability to DISCUSS the ISSUE with them. Oh, yes, I have tried their BS "Commercials Free" Subscription also....

filled with Commercials on all the network shows I like... And; yes, I have written to them to ONLY receive a Canned Auto-Robotic response.... (G*D Forbid HULU Personalizes Customer Services... Just like their krapolla "Help" and "FAQs" sections online...

They are the The Biggest Winner of: "Ongoing Worst Customer Service Awards" of Any major corporation; Annually, IMO.) And there is NO WAY to convince them that The Streaming Problem lies with HULU's VERY HIGH QUALITY SPECIALIZED COMMERCIALS that they create that Require much greater download speeds and wider broadband widths to Stream them. (And I Swear I shall kill myself if I have to see That Strange Blue-Eyed, Red Headed Opthamologist or Jennifer Aniston whining about Dry Eyes again... Get a REAL health issue; Your "friends didn't know how you suffered from Dry Eyes", BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T CARE. And neither do we Jen....

Ooops, Apologies; I digress!) I Download everything else I want to watch overnight from my Amazon Prime with Showtime Add-On Subscription. Then view those either On or Offline at my leisure; With NO Problems. No Stuttering, Nasty Accusations...Just Viewing Enjoyment. Then I Delete after watching.

Easy. It's not as if the download, view, delete technology to provide this option does not exist; It's because HULU, which charges the same or higher rates as the other streaming services, DOES NOT WANT TO PROVIDE IT TO THEIR CUSTOMERS. The only reason I have kept my subscription with HULU is because of their "Market Niche Uniqueness": Providing Shows from Network TV Stations, CBS, ABC, FOX, NBC, etc.and a couple of their HULU Original Series that I like. Because watching shows OTA via antenna is also a Spotty Experience where I live...80+ Miles away from where they are broadcast from with a couple of mountain ranges in between...

Until HULU provides the long awaited ability to Download shows; Which was AGAIN and Last Promised publicly within "a few months" back in January 2017 by HULU CEO Mike Hopkins... I shall be canceling and badmouthing Hulu to Anyone who will listen at the end of my Krap Service date this month. (NOTE to Mike Hopkins: It is now July 2017; 7.5 months is NOT "a few"; 3-4 is "a few" to regular people such as myself Mr. CEO...

Regarding my review posted above on Aug. 03, 2017: I cancelled my HULU account on Sept.

29, 2017 as the "New & Improved" Interface introduced this summer still does not allow customers to download shows to watch offline as Amazon & Showtime do. Bye Bye Hulu; I know you don't care; just thought I'd mention it.

Getting tired of so many commercials...after all, I signed up for HULU Plus to avoid all those commercials. Now still paying but commercials are as bad as when I first started watching HULU before Plus came out.

And the commercials occasionally send my streaming into a freeze and have to restart only to have to watch the commercials over again, the ones I just watched that caused the tv to freeze! ARGGGGG
